Hello Everybody!

I am Joe Dodd and I just thought I would try to talk to you on a more personal level. The internet can be very impersonal and because most communication is done by email we really don't know the other person other than you are talking to "somebody" on the other end of those emails.

I have personally been online since the early to middle 90's when the internet was in it's infancy. I have been building websites almost that long too, about 10 years. I grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia on the Chesapeake Bay where I used to and still do go fishing as much as possible. Although I build all types of websites that is the reason I made fishing charter and fishing guide websites my specialty. I took my great love for fishing and combined it with work so I could "love" my work. So far it has worked for me since the beginning.

I live in Va beach but I build websites for clients all around the world. I have built sites for businesses in Costa Rica to the Dominican Republic to Alaska. The internet really has opened up the world and made it available to everybody.

The name of this website, "Tight Line Designs", comes from a term that anglers use all the time when signing emails or posting in fishing discussion forums. Instead of signing a post or an email "Best Regards" or "Sincerely" they will sign it with the term "Tight Lines". Loosely translated it simply means when you have a fish on the line to keep your line tight without letting slack into the line otherwise you may lose your fish. It can also mean that "I hope your lines are always tight" which is like saying I hope you have a fish on the line all the time, kind of like saying "good luck".

What does Tight Line Web Designs do?

TightLineDesigns.com provides companies around the world with website design, search engine optimization, website marketing services, and website hosting. Although our home office is based in Virginia Beach, Va. near the beautiful Chesapeake Bay we serve clients and businesses in locations around the globe. We often find ourselves working internationally, in places like the tropical paradise of Costa Rica or the Island of the Dominican Republic. Even though we love to work for our international clients the large majority of our projects are for United States clients. Our main goal is to provide a high level of service to individuals and their small to medium sized businesses so they can best increase their customer pool and leverage the Internet to increase sales and achieve ultimate success.
